"Lynn and I were privilaged to take this great safari-style nature trip to 4 countries in Southern Africa
where we photographed over 120 new bird species, many of Africa's natural wonders and, of course...
Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Cheetahs, Hyena, Jackals, Water Buffalo,
Wild dogs, Babboons, Monkeys, all manner of Antelope and many other wonderous 4 legged creatures,
and a few other crawling critters"...
And, the African people we met were fabulous!

* Our trip... We toured South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana with a wonderful tour company called OVERSEAS ADVENTURE TRAVEL We had 14 people total on this trip, mostly divided into two safari-style jeeps of 7 passengers each. We bumped and bounced and chased to remote areas in search of the "ultimate" animal sighting, and along the way I was able to get my birding experience satisfied. Everyone was very accommodating as I asked the guide to stop our jeep and let me get that "needed photo" Even non-birders joined in in trying to find unusual birds for me to photo.... Thanks to everyone who was part of this adventure and ... We will be back!
