Mourning Dove

American Bald Eagle
(on a tree in our preserve)


Osprey-
(Loud call, guarding the nestling)

Wood Stork
(seen wading at many of our ponds,
very common this month)

European Starling
(all over the power lines at Ballantrae...very colorful bird)


February was a fun month for birding! Some new and uncommon species,
including an Eagle which is not seen here often
