Young are called Colts... fuzzy and cute!

American Kestrel
One of the smallest Falcons, very common in Ballantrae this month

Tri-colored Heron
seen in many of our ponds
Breeding plumage now...

Palm Warbler
common small bird in Ballantrae...
Many more warbler species coming soon, during migration.


March was a busy month for birding! Some hatchlings and Juvenile birds,
some returning and migrating
birds and... lots of them!!
